Fashion through centuries pt. 2
You've been waiting and here it is!✨
1980 - rollerdisco boom! 🛼 The brightest era, the most bold one yet. Colourful bodysuits, blowout (p.s, rumour says that that amount of hairspray back then almost ruined ozone layer👀), sportswear, denim and leather. It was both mix of elegant suits and dresses with bold bright sportswear. Also one of the biggest fashion icons of that time was Princess Diane.
1970 - glamourous disco vibe. One piece bright costumes, bell bottom pants, styled hair, figure hugging dresses, wide leg pallazo pants. Many clothes were selling unisex at that time and made flowy for dancing. Length of pieces were really inconsistent - from mini shorts to full on maxi skirts.
1960 - remained bright but held elegancy, especially in womenswear, influenced by hippie and a bit rock styles. Skirt suits, elegant dresses, for men - more casual suits, some military patterns
1950 - were clearly gender divided. For women - flowy romantic elegant wear, and for men - suits, that somewhat started to shift to casualness. Also it was the time of many fashion designers - C. Balenciaga, H. de Givenchy, C. Dior and era of Marylin Monroe.
